When you create a Wrenchi account, we collect your email address and a password stored in encrypted form. This information is used solely to authenticate your identity and associate your saved devices and fix history with your account. We do not use your email address for marketing without your explicit consent. You may delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. Creating an account is optional — all core features are available without one.
3. How We Use Your Information
The information you provide is used solely to:Generate AI-powered tech support guidance in response to your questions

4A. AI Processing
Wrenchi uses artificial intelligence to process your tech questions and images. Your inputs are sent to an AI service to generate responses. These inputs are processed to provide your answer and are not permanently stored or linked to your identity.
4B. Fix History and Device Profiles
Wrenchi allows you to optionally save device profiles and fix history within the app. If you are logged in, this data is stored on our servers and associated only with your account — it is never visible to other users. If you are not logged in, this data exists only for your current session. This data is used solely to provide personalized fix suggestions and Tried Before detection. We do not use your saved device profiles or fix history for marketing or profiling purposes.
5. Third-Party Services
Wrenchi may use the following third-party services to operate:AI language model providers (for generating tech support responses)
Hosting and infrastructure providers (Base44)These providers process data only as necessary to provide their services and are bound by their own privacy policies.
6. Data Retention
For users without an account, tech questions and images are processed in real time and are not stored long-term. For users with an account, saved device profiles and fix history are retained until you delete them or request account deletion. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing [email protected].
7. Children's Privacy
Wrenchi is designed for general audiences and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through our app, please contact us and we will address it promptly.
Wrenchi includes a Family Mode feature that allows users to create device profiles for family members. No personal information about family members is collected beyond a first name or nickname entered voluntarily by the primary user.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect the information processed through Wrenchi. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of Wrenchi after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.

By downloading, accessing, or using the Wrenchi application ("App") or website at wrenchi.app ("Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Wrenchi.

Wrenchi is an AI-powered technology guidance application that provides general troubleshooting suggestions, plain-English explanations of tech terms and error messages, and device health guidance for everyday users. Core features are available free of charge and do not require account creation.

Wrenchi is NOT responsible for any data loss, hardware damage, software issues, or system problems that may result from following guidance provided in the App

4. Permitted Use
You may use Wrenchi for personal, non-commercial technology troubleshooting and learning purposes. You agree not to:Use Wrenchi for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the App
Submit false, misleading, or harmful content through the App
Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality
Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the App
Create multiple accounts to circumvent any usage limitations5. Intellectual Property
The Wrenchi name, logo, tagline ("Tech problems, plain English."), and all original content within the App are the property of Wrenchi and are protected by applicable trademark and copyright law. Wrenchi™ is a trademark. Unauthorized use of the Wrenchi name or branding is prohibited.
5B. User Accounts
You may optionally create an account to access personalized features including Device Profiles, Fix History, and Family Mode. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected].
6A. AI-Generated Content
Wrenchi's responses are generated by artificial intelligence. AI can make mistakes. The tech guidance provided is generated automatically based on your inputs and should be treated as a helpful starting point, not a definitive professional diagnosis. We make no warranty that AI-generated responses are accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation.
6B. Offline Features
Wrenchi includes a Quick Fixes library that functions without an internet connection. This content is hardcoded and may not reflect the latest software updates or device changes from manufacturers. Always verify steps are appropriate for your specific device version.
7. User-Submitted Content
When you submit text descriptions or photos to Wrenchi, you grant us a limited license to process that content for the sole purpose of generating a response for you. You retain ownership of anything you submit. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any images or content you provide.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
Wrenchi may reference third-party products, services, or websites in its responses (such as Microsoft, Apple, or Google products). These references are for guidance only. Wrenchi is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party companies mentioned. All third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.
9. Availability
We aim to keep Wrenchi available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wrenchi and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to data loss, device damage, or reliance on AI-generated guidance.
